Terms of Service

These terms cover the use of seopraxis.com and the basis on which Webhaus LLC, trading as SEO Praxis, provides its services. The services themselves are governed by the written proposal and agreement each client signs; where that agreement and this page differ, the agreement applies.

The website

seopraxis.com and its articles are published for information. They describe what we do and what we tell clients; they are not legal, financial or professional advice for your situation, and reading them creates no client relationship. We take care that the articles are accurate and cited, and we correct mistakes when they are pointed out, but we do not warrant that every statement is complete or current.

Services

Every engagement starts with a written proposal that says what we will do, what it costs, what is not included, and how either side ends it. Work starts when the proposal is accepted in writing. Monthly services are billed monthly in advance and can be ended by either side with thirty days’ notice; a build is billed as the proposal sets out.

Ownership

The client owns the domain name, which is registered in the client’s name; the website and its content; and the accounts we set up on the client’s behalf. On leaving, the client receives a complete copy of the site and the passwords. We keep the right to show a client’s site in our portfolio unless the client asks us not to.

Hosting

Sites on our managed servers are backed up daily and monitored. We aim for the site to be available at all times and restore it promptly when it is not, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we are not liable for loss caused by outages outside our control, by third-party services, or by content the client publishes.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability to a client for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees paid for the service concerned in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

The client portal

The portal is for clients. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us at once if you think they have been used by someone else.

Governing law

These terms and our agreements are governed by the laws of the State of California. Questions about them go to hello@seopraxis.com.
